Connected Kids does not currently accept insurance but is in the process of taking Cigna, Optum/UHC, BCBS FL, Medicare, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage. Right now insurance is considered "out of network" or private pay. We accept credit cards, checks, or Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA), as therapy qualifies as a health-related expense. In addition, we are a Step Up for Students provider, which in many cases can cover all or most of your bill if your child qualifies for the Unique Abilities scholarship. Please review your Step Up handbook for the steps to submit for reimbursement of services.

Upon request, we will gladly provide you with a SuperBill as a statement of your services. You can submit the SuperBill on your own behalf to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. It is highly recommended that you check with your insurance company to figure out which out-of-network speech services are included in your plan. A doctor's referral is not needed for an evaluation or services at Connected Kids.

Good Faith Estimates are available upon request as per the “No Surprises Act".
